What can I put out for recycling pickup?

The following items can be put out and must be placed in a recycling bin:

  • Aluminum
  • Books
  • Envelopes
  • Glass bottles/jars
  • Magazines
  • Milk and juice cartons
  • Newspaper
  • Office paper
  • Paper bags
  • Plastic containers
  • Steel
  • Tin

All of these items can now be co-mingled. Cardboard larger than 4 feet by 4 feet can be brought to the Stevens Street Recycling, a dumpster is available. Recycling sticker is required, no charge to dispose of the cardboard. All Styrofoam must be removed and is not accepted at Stevens Street Recycling Center.
