The Memorial Day Parade is back this year!

MAP OF MEMORIAL DAY PARADE ROUTE WHICH ENDS IN FRONT OF THE TOWN HALL

The Committee has had to slightly alter the traditional parade route due to the Eversource construction on Elm Street but the parade will be held on Monday, May 30th beginning at 10:00 am.

A pre-parade ceremony will take place at 9:20 am at the flag pole in Saint Patrick Cemetery on Elm Street.

The parade itself will be staging in the Central Middle School parking lot with larger vehicles lining up on Pomeworth Street.

The parade will begin around 10:00 am by turning right out of the Central Middle School parking lot onto Pomerworth Street.

The parade will turn right onto William Street and proceed to Main Street where the parade will then turn left and proceed straight until turning right onto Montvale Avenue.

The parade will stop for a brief ceremony at the Veterans’ Circle in Lindenwood Cemetery on Montvale Avenue.

At the completion of the ceremony, the parade resumes up Montvale Avenue, turns right onto Main Street proceeding straight into Stoneham Square and finally turning left onto Central Street where it will end at Town Hall.

The closing ceremony will take place at Stoneham Town Hall at 11:30 am.

Please note that there will be no on-street parking allowed on the upper end of Pomeworth Street or on Central Street in front of Town Hall on Monday, May 30th from 7:00 am- 11:00 am.
