Special Town Election Tuesday, November 2nd Town Hall Auditorium 7AM-8PM


A Special Town Election will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd from 7AM-8PM in the Town Hall Auditorium.  This election is solely for the purpose of voting on one ballot question to allow for a debt exclusion to pay for the costs of planning, designing, constructing, originally equipping and furnishing the New Stoneham High School.  More information on the project can be found on our School Building Committee page.

For those voters who would like to vote absentee or by mail you may follow this link to download an application or you may provide any signed written request. Completed, signed applications/requests may be returned by mail to the Town Clerk's Office, 35 Central St, Stoneham, MA  02180, dropped off in person at the Town Clerk's Office or in the Town Hall drop box located at the side entrance to Town hall and by email to  All requests for ballots to be mailed must be received in the Town Clerk's Office by the close of business on Wednesday, October 27th.  Absentee voters may also vote in person at the Town Clerk's Office until noon on Monday, November 1st. 

For those not yet registered to vote, you must register by Wednesday, October 13th to vote in this election.  This includes anyone who will be turning 18 on or before November 2, 2021.  You may follow this link to register online
