Attention Families of Veterans
If you have a loved one buried in a private plot at a cemetery in Stoneham please let us know. We have a list of many Veterans, but not all of them. Veterans graves issued by the VA are easily distinguishable and we know enough to place a Flag there. The private stones are tougher to distinguish whether they are Veterans or not, in fact we don't know if they are Veterans unless they are on our list. Please do not hesitate to pass along this information. The section, row, grave number, or any other information you can pass along will be very helpful. Every Veteran deserves a Flag on Memorial Day. The bottom line is if he or she has a stone that does not say Veteran and is not on the list we have no way of knowing.
Any information can be passed along to Jim Devlin at jdevlin@ci.stoneham.ma.us. or (781) 279-2664
