Stoneham Board of Selectmen – Minutes of Meeting of February 27, 2007
Chairman Robert W. Sweeney called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Also present were Selectmen John F. DePinto, Anthony C. Kennedy, R. Paul Rotondi, George E. Seibold, Town Administrator David Ragucci, and Town Counsel William H. Solomon.
Pledge of Allegiance
Approve Minutes
Motion was made and seconded to approve the 2/13/07 minutes. Voting was 4-0-1, with Selectman Kennedy abstaining. Motion carried. Motion was made and seconded to approve the 2/12/07 minutes. Voting was 4-0-1, with Chairman Sweeney abstaining. Motion carried.
Liquor Licensing Authority
Motion was made and seconded to go into Liquor Licensing Authority. Motion was unanimously voted.
Meeting recessed at 7:10 p.m.
Meeting reconvened at 7:14 p.m.
11 DiNanno Rd/Selectman DePinto
Selectman DePinto asked Town Counsel to call the State to see if 11 DiNanno Road has permits. Town Counsel said he will speak to the Building Inspector to inquire if they need permits and then he will call the Commonwealth.
Appoint Member to Board of Registrars
Selectman DePinto nominated Jo Ann Anderson, seconded by Selectman Kennedy. Selectman Seibold nominated Nicholas Connors. Chairman Sweeney passed the gavel to Selectman DePinto and nominated Larry Allen. Chairman Sweeney then seconded Selectman Seibold’s motion. Selectman Rotondi seconded Chairman Sweeney’s motion, for discussion. Chairman Sweeney took back the gavel. Voting was as follows:
Selectman Rotondi – Jo Ann Anderson; Selectman Kennedy – Jo Ann Anderson; Selectman DePinto – Jo Ann Anderson; Selectman Seibold – Nicholas Connors; Chairman Sweeney – Larry Allen. Jo Ann Anderson was appointed.
Appoint Member to Local Cultural Council
Selectman DePinto moved to appoint Grace Tringale to the Local Cultural Council, seconded by Selectman Kennedy. Motion was unanimously voted.
Appoint Member to State Relations Committee
Selectman DePinto moved to appoint James Sinclair to the State Relations Committee, seconded by Selectman Rotondi. Motion was unanimously voted.
