Meeting Minutes
Present for the Committee: Stephen Born, John Bowen, John DeAmicis, Richard Gregorio, James Sinclair, John Warren. and Russ Wilson.
Also Present: Andrew Gould.
1. Call to Order -- The meeting was called to order by Chairman J. Warren at 7:32 pm.
2. Minutes -- The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted.
3. Correspondence and Announcements -- New members Stephen Born and James Sinclair have been duly appointed and sworn in.
4. Recycling Presentation -- Dan Harty of Covanta discussed recycling mercury products. David Mauer discussed what types of trash are recyclable in Stoneham.
5. State Budget and State Aid -- Chairman Warren pointed out that with state tax revenues growing no more than 3-4 percent, Stoneham is unlikely to benefit from increased state aid in the next budget.
6. Annual Town Report -- Chairman Warren shared a draft letter for inclusion in the town's annual report. He asked for comments and suggestions from committee members
7. Time and Place of Next Meeting -- 30 January at 7:00 P.M. at Town Hall.for a meeting with Selectmen and School Board. Next Finance and Advisory Board Committee meeting 5 February at 7:30 P.M. and Town Hall.
8. Adjournment -- The meeting was adjourned by Chairman J. Warren at 9:05 pm.
