Meeting Minutes
Present for the Committee: John Bowen, John DeAmicis, Ben Caggiano, Richard Gregorio, Nick Stavre, John Warren. and Russ Wilson.
Also Present: Andrew Gould.
1. Call to Order -- The meeting was called to order by Chairman J. Warren at 7:30 pm.
2. Minutes -- The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted.
3. Correspondence -- The committee was copied on a letter from Town Moderator Mike Rotondi appointing Andrew Gould to the Finance and Advisory Board.
4. Comparable Communities Survey -- Selectman Paul Rotondi presented the finding of his survey of costs among 16 towns comparable to Stoneham.
5. Recommendation of New Members -- MOTION by J. Bowen TO RECOMMEND THE APPOINTMENT OF STEVE BORN, AND JIM SINCLAIR TO THE FINANCE AND ADVISORY BOARD. Seconded by R. Wilson. MOTION PASSES 7-0.
6. Audit Sub-Committee -- The audit sub-committee reports that corrective action to previous management letters has been slow. September has not yet been reconciled in the town books. The audit sub-committee will meet separately with the auditors this year.
7. Time and Place of Next Meeting -- 15 January at 7:30 P.M. at Town Hall..
8. Adjournment -- The meeting was adjourned by Chairman J. Warren at 9:32 pm.
