Meeting Minutes
Present for the Committee: John Bowen, John DeAmicis, Dan Doherty, Richard Gregorio, Shawn McCarthy, John Warren, and Russ Wilson.
1. Call to Order -- The meeting was called to order by Chairman R. Gregorio at 7:40 pm.
2. Approval of Previous Minutes -- The minutes of 23 March 2006 were approved with the insertion of the note that item 5e was a role call vote.
3. Planning Board (182) FY07 Budget Presentation by John Warren -- Finance and Advisory Board member John Warrent reviewed the Planning Board's budget for fiscal year 2007.
4. Non-Contributory Pension (910) and Contributory Pension (911) FY07 Budget Presentation by John DeAmicis -- Finance and Advisory Board member Richard Gregorio presented the proposed non-Contributory and Contributory Pension budgets for fiscal year 2007.
5. ARTICLES
a. ARTICLE 4: MOTION by R. Wilson TO RECOMMEND PASSAGE OF ARTICLE 4 (salaries of elected officials). SECONDED J. DeAmicis. MOTION PASSES 6-1.
b. ARTICLE 9: MOTION by R. Gregorio TO RECOMMEND PASSAGE OF ARTICLE 9 (additional retirement allowance to disabled veterans). SECONDED by S. McCarthy. MOTION PASSES 6-1.
6. Time and Place of Next Meeting -- Left to the call of the Chair but no later than 3 April.
7. Adjournment -- Chairman Gregorio adjourned the meeting at 8:30 pm.
