FOSTER’S LOBSTERBAKE: Come with us to York, ME on Wednesday July 13 for Foster’s famous lobster bake. Includes award winning clam chowder, steamed clams, 1fresh Maine lobster or BBQ chicken and blueberry crumb cake. Side trip to Stonewall Kitchen Store, Nubble Lighthouse and York Village. Cash or check for $68 pp payable to Stoneham Senior center by July 1st. Specify Lobster or Chicken upon reservation. Leave Senior Center at 8:30 a.m./ return approx 5:00/5:30 p.m.
DUCK BOAT TOUR: See Boston by land and by river in a World War II amphibious landing vehicle on Friday July 29. After splash down we head to Café Dolce in Winchester. Lunch is one of three sandwich choices (tuna, eggplant or turkey) and a side salad or choice of 8 salads (house green, tomato, caprese, chicken cutley, grilled steak, Caesar and Caesar with Chicken. Cash or check payable to Stoneham Senior Center for $35 (excludes bus driver gratuity). Specify lundh choice. Leave Senior Center at 8:30 am/return approximately 2:15 pm. Cutoff Date is July 15. Duck boat space limited to 31 adventuresome souls.
BOSTON BOAT TRIP: Back by popular demand. Welcome aboard The Revolution for a two hour narrated cruise around Boston Harbor on Wednesday August 17. You haven’t seen the skyline until you’ve viewed it from the water. We sail from Winthrop at 11:00 a.m. and on board you will be served a box lunch. Call 781-438-1157 to reserve your 'deck chair' and make your check for $30 payable to the Stoneham Senior Center. The boat holds 100 hearty souls so tell your friends and neighbors. Life jackets included <grin>. Leave Senior Center 10:00 am/ return by 3:00 p.m. Cutoff date is Wednesday August 3.
